First time order. Got the Giannabelle salad because it was something different...delicious. Most places throw a couple slivers of chicken on and charge alot, here everything is plentiful. Wife got the cheese tots...I tried some and they were good also.

Is Fat Jones's under new owners? Because I would not order from there again. Yesterday we ordered French toast sticks from Fat Joe's via GrubHub. Now on Snyder Ave instead of Columbus Blvd. For those who know French toast sticks, we know the bread is cut into sticks, dipped in batter and fried. Creating a deliciously crisp coating. At FJ's nope.

Their French toast sticks were two slices of French toast, made like French toast and THEN CUT into sticks. I could have saved money and time by just making those myself. It is obvious they have no clue about the difference. Their French toast was flavorless and also soggy. Pro tip FJ's cut a notch in your containers for French toast and it won't steam itself to grossness.

To add to their ignorance, this was their response to my niece's review on GrubHub.

Thank you for your review. I apologize that our French toast sticks are homemade not freezer to fryer garbage, and as for our packaging this is a standard box we put our product in. Each of your orders.  And yes we ran out of milk.

We didn't want freezer to fryer. We wanted restaurant quality French toast sticks made the way any HOMEMADE recipe on the internet shows. You cut the bread first, dip and THEN fry.

While my niece didn't state this, we are still not sure if we received the correct amount of hash browns. We ordered two servings and received two in one box. GrubHub doesn't state how many in order. But, Hashbrowns $1.50, the S implies more than one per order.  Everything else was packaged one item to box as all items were not a part of a platter. So given this they didn't provide the correct amount.

Their review was ridiculous and snarky not in a good way.
I highly suggest spending your money elsewhere if you are busy and want a restaurant that isn't lazy or provides subpar customer service.

The sad part is we were repeat customers at the Columbus Blvd. restaurant. We will no longer order from them. There are plenty of other restaurants That make  homemade French toast sticks the right way.

I got the cheesesteak.  very good cheesesteak.  easy access from 95. Fat Joe runs a good place. plenty of room. clean bathrooms. Milkshakes. I will be back for the pepperoni bread.

Cheesesteaks are great as are the Monster Fries!  I honestly don't think I'll stand in line at Pat's or Geno's again.  Plus there's pleanty of parking, places to sit, [and] climate cantrol.
